Summary
Silicon AI does not collect, store or transmit personal data to the developer or to third parties. The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools and no third-party libraries for data collection. There is no user account and no server of our own. You can play the game completely without an internet connection and without Game Center.
What is stored on your device
Your save game (with three automatic backups) and your settings are stored locally on your device only. Settings include language, sound, music, haptics, Valley Radio on or off, reminders, menu size and markers for which hints you have already seen, as well as the album of endings you have experienced. This data never leaves the device and is not visible to us. It is removed when you delete the app.
To do this, the app reads file timestamps and the system uptime on your device (for example, to throttle messages). This information is neither stored nor transmitted.
Game Center (optional)
If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, the app reports your holding value (a whole number) for the leaderboard and unlocked achievements to Game Center. This is processed by Apple under its privacy terms (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). The app reads neither your name nor your player ID and receives no personal data from Game Center; the developer of this app cannot see them. Without a Game Center sign-in nothing is reported, and the game runs unchanged. Your save game is not synchronised through Game Center or iCloud.
Internet connection
The game itself needs no internet connection. Apart from the Game Center reports described above, which the operating system handles, the app does not open any connections. It contains no web view and no links to websites. The only link opens the app’s notification settings in iOS.
Reminders (optional)
If you allow it, the app occasionally shows a notification when something in the game is waiting for you (for example a finished training run or an expiring offer). Your device schedules these notifications itself from your local save game. No data is sent to us or to third parties; there is no push service and no device identifier. The app asks for permission only after its own explanation in the game, never at first launch. You can turn reminders off at any time in the game’s settings or in iOS Settings.
Permissions and identifiers
Apart from the optional permission for notifications, the app asks for no permissions (no location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos). It uses no advertising identifier and no tracking in the sense of Apple’s App Tracking Transparency.
Purchase through the App Store
The game is a one-time purchase handled by Apple’s App Store. Payment data is processed by Apple alone. The app contains no in-app purchases.
Crash reports from Apple
If you have allowed sharing analytics with developers in iOS, or you test through TestFlight, Apple may pass crash reports on to us. These reports come from Apple, not from the app, and contain no personal details about you.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects data from no one. It has no chat, no text input and no content from other players.
Your rights
Since we do not process personal data, we store nothing we could give you access to. You have the rights granted by data protection law (access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority). For data that Apple processes in connection with Game Center or the App Store, please contact Apple.
Changes
We will update this policy if the app changes, for example through new features. The current version is available at this address.
